Eyes or suckers? Roots or arms or elephantine trunks?

The little thing in the upper left scares me most. The sapling/offspring. And it's some sort of human parasite, don't you dare tell me anything different. Oh yes, it has little fangs to attach itself to my brain and then it releases weird fluids into it, so it can control me... oh yes, puppetmaster allusions, I see them.
