New work, Rework, weird work.

Somewhat inspired by the theme of "Gods & Monsters" which likely is already a book but whatever. After the insane amount of hours I've been submerged in... this is a little weird vacation.

So.. there ya go. A return to the strange.

That's funny, I was drawing complex pattern tiles the other-day while listening to Lovecraft books on audio-tape and thought of you and your strange work. [laughs]

Anyhow this is pretty slick. The textures like on the forearms and pants are all more exact then I'm used to seeing in your work and I actually like it better this way. Same for the subtly of the shading, such as on the left edge of the face and body. The extra push to reality just makes the unreal elements all the more striking

Interesting. Not as ambiguous as your usual work. I think something is lost without that ambiguity.
