I am on this... horizontal kick lately.

I think I am going to compile some pictures sometime in a book or website or something and ask people to write stories based on the illustration.

Yeah, the title is right, and not "Icarian".
The titles and themes for a lot of my work are linked... and are part of this strange narrative that runs through the quieter parts of my mind.

But blah blah blah that is boring artspeak.
Just hope you dig the picture like I do.


Original size... 27" x 9". Though I would probably make prints smaller. Will try to post some details of this sometime. Maybe later.

Artspeak..? The art speaks thru your mind and our imagination :)
Words do not impress more than the visual aspects; Gathered in The Icarus..
Well, in this case the entire composition triggers my mind.
Hard to convert does emotions back to words..

Great idea! I was going to say, this image really evokes a narrative. I'm not creative enough to imagine what it might be, but I'm definitely drawn into the world of the picture.

most excellent work love the whole panoramic multi layered approach the power and strength of the images are monumental even on this scale and the richness of the anatomical melange oozes with delightful shapes colour and textures :)
