I am on this... horizontal kick lately.
I think I am going to compile some pictures sometime in a book or website or something and ask people to write stories based on the illustration. Yeah, the title is right, and not "Icarian". The titles and themes for a lot of my work are linked... and are part of this strange narrative that runs through the quieter parts of my mind. But blah blah blah that is boring artspeak. Just hope you dig the picture like I do. Original size... 27" x 9". Though I would probably make prints smaller. Will try to post some details of this sometime. Maybe later. Thanks for checking it out. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I am intrigued by the proposed reversal, storytelling following the visual, instead of the visual being just illustrative. I like these aspects in juxtaposition, rather than one being subservient to the other.
Love this piece, can't wait to some close-ups for detail!
