Finally got a hard copy and omg, the detail on these... rocks.

Wow. I probably sound like a pompous ass or something...but hey if you can't make work you like then why do it at all right?

Well I like it. Hope you do too.

Sorry if these are redundant and boring to ya.

Not redundant in the slightest! I only find it humorous the way in which you, personally, contribute to the dichotomy between being joyous over a succesful and interesting piece of art and at the same time excusing any inherent redundancy.

I always find it fascinating how you employ 'industrial' and 'tough' geometrical framework in combination with the slightly more poetic, 'organic' shapes. Could you elaborate on this fact? Are you aware of it?

What has been lacking in your pictures (to me personally of course) is compository significance; a coherence and importance in the compilation. But with this piece that particular notion is destroyed!

excusing=excuse of course, just in case you did not understand.

I like the progression of colours and destructuration. I like the realistic -yellow - part less, doesnt melt so well with the other parts. I understand very well that you are happy with the print. For me I consider something is really done only when I make the print just ok to my taste, and sometimes it's no easy.

Me ? A signature ? Never.
Hmmm, good observations. Thanks for taking time to check it out.

I do consciously use elements of organic and mechanical... but have really only analyzed that fact (opposed to just working intuitively) in the past few years.

Earlier it came up that, I was raised by a mechanic and an amateur biologist so, that blend of figure and machine is something imprinted on my memories as a kid probably.

More than that though, has been the undercurrent of the work which is a fascination with the way the devices we make influences who we become as a species. Cultural influence of technology, to boil it down.

I also like the work of the Symbolists and identify with that movement somewhat more, so that can account for the seemingly randomness of composition.

Thanks very much for the advanced discussion!
Always great to hear your thoughts.

Okay, I have to see this one. Did you print this one and the others? I think I like this one the most. Amazing work.
