This one is in the same mood as my earlier 'Landscaft '

Inspired by stuff like this :

as well as all of the stories of voyages to Antarctica, a place I would very much like to visit sometime.

Has anyone been there?

the small vertical line at the top of the picture works a bit like a 'catch' that sort of divides the composition into two pieces as there's a slightly noticeable line mirroring the division above, I think the length of the composition instead of the height is a good direction to take this (nonetheless, a very small detail), overall very cool, I like the overlaid effects, the ship nestled into a hill of snow is also a nice touch, good work

"The theosophists teach something about us after death coming back in one or another form," wrote Helmer Hanssen of the Fram Expedition, "and I for my part devoutly hope that I do not come again as a draft dog on polar expeditions."

Very atmospheric piece- I like it :D

Right on man. You know, I saw the vertical at the top, thought about whether or not to integrate it more but left it since to me it could also indicate a larger mountain range somewhere in the distance.
But I see what you mean and yeah, going horizontal on this one to adjust the ratio is a great call.

Thanks for checking it out!
